The conversation of which copy of my note is attach-
od will be within your recollection and since its date I have made enquiries concerning the exportation of coal from panila with the following result.

Since the 5th of Auquet the following steamers, only one of which is a regular collier, cleared from Manila for the porta set against their nsunee: -
Rio Fasig

Teintau
Locksun
Lachew
Anghin
Bla horn
Manado, Akbes
Soorabaya
Bangkok

There is under normal conditions no export of coal from Manila to such ports and I an informed that coal has nover before been know to be exported to the Dutch ports named above
from Kamila.
In view of the presence of Cermen vessels of war in the neighbouring waters, there cannot be any reasonable doubt as : to the destination of the coal carried by the steamora in question
